Backend-focused developer from Nepal | Java โข Microservices โข Cloud โข System Design
I'm Cevin Gurung, a 3rd year student at Informatics College Pokhara and a backend-focused developer who enjoys building real-world systems using Java and Spring Boot. Iโm highly interested in microservices, cloud, and system design, and Iโm always exploring new technologies that help me build scalable and production-ready applications.
At my internship, I work with React + Spring Boot and implement secure authentication using JWT. I focus more on backend development, clean APIs, and database design.
I also do freelancing where I handle QA game testing and build backend features using Spring Boot.
Previously, at Informatics College Pokhara, I worked as an Intern Tutor where I taught Core Java (especially OOP concepts) to juniors (students one year below me).
Worked on modern full-stack development using React and Spring Boot, focusing on backend APIs and secure authentication with JWT.
